Community guidelines for sharing photos, voice & keepsakes
LensBooth is created to connect people across distance and celebrate authentic moments. To maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful platform across our booths, Studio tools, and Tiny Radio, all users and contributors must abide by these rules.
Version 2.4 • Effective Date: September 28, 20261. Consent, Age Requirements & Likeness/Voice Respect
The foundation of LensBooth is mutual trust, privacy by design, and respect for personal likeness and voice:
- Age Minimums: You must be at least 13 years old to use LensBooth. Features that save personal data (Google sign-in, Tiny Radio broadcasts, Studio Letters and Cassettes, and Community Spotlight submissions) require being at least 18 years of age.
- Obtain Explicit Consent: Always obtain unambiguous, voluntary permission from everyone present before taking a photo, recording a voice message, starting a Shared Booth session, or downloading/sharing a photo strip.
- Never Record Secretly: Secretly capturing video, recording audio, or broadcasting another person's voice without their knowledge and consent is strictly prohibited.
- Community Spotlight Submissions: You must never submit a photo strip depicting friends, family, or third parties unless you have their express consent to have their faces displayed publicly on LensBooth.
- Immediate Respect for Withdrawal: If anyone appearing in a photo or heard in a voice message asks you not to share it, or asks for a featured spotlight strip or radio message to be taken down, honor their request immediately.
2. Strictly Prohibited Content & Global Conduct Rules
We enforce zero tolerance for dangerous, exploitative, harassing, or unlawful material across all features (Solo Booth, Shared Booth, Community Spotlight, Studio Letters, Studio Cassettes, Studio Build Together, and Tiny Radio). You agree NEVER to capture, record, stream, upload, or submit:
- Child Exploitation & CSAM: Zero tolerance. Any depiction of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors will result in immediate termination, IP blocking, and automatic reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cyber law enforcement authorities.
- Nudity, Sexual Content & Non-Consensual Imagery: Sexually explicit poses, nudity, genitalia, non-consensual intimate imagery, or AI-generated deepfakes are strictly forbidden in photos, video feeds, and cassette cover artwork.
- Slurs, Hate Speech & Abusive Language: Dehumanizing slurs, discrimination, and hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality are banned across all languages.
- Harassment, Bullying & Doxxing: Targeted attacks, intimidation, aggressive insults, threats, suicide/self-harm encouragement, or revealing private personal details (phone numbers, physical addresses, national identity documents, or real full names without consent).
- Solicitation, Personal Handles & Advertising (Voice & Text): You may not use Tiny Radio broadcasts, cassette labels, or public text fields to promote commercial services, spam, cryptocurrency schemes, financial requests, promo codes, or personal contact solicitations ("follow my snap", "DM me on Insta", WhatsApp/Telegram numbers, OnlyFans).
- Links & Phishing: External hyperlinks and web addresses are strictly blocked in user-facing text fields (usernames, cassette labels, radio messages) to protect users from malicious redirects and phishing.
- Copyright & Audio Infringement: Broadcasting commercial copyrighted songs, sound recordings, or uncredited audio on Tiny Radio or Studio Cassettes is strictly prohibited.
- Voice Cloning & Deceptive Impersonation: Using synthetic voice cloning, deepfakes, or impersonating other individuals or public figures is strictly forbidden.
- Platform Abuse & Automation: Distributing malware, running unauthorized scraping bots, or attempting to flood our servers or radio broadcast channels.
3. Multi-Layered Moderation & Enforcement Policy
We combine automated safety screening, human moderation, and community reporting to protect our users:
- Community Spotlight Pre-Moderation: Every photo strip submitted to our public showcase is reviewed by a human moderator before it can appear on the homepage. Submissions that do not meet our quality or safety standards are rejected.
- Studio Tiny Radio Automated Defense-in-Depth: Tiny Radio voice broadcasts undergo multi-tiered safety screening before they can be heard by anyone:
- Pattern & Link Filters: Automated filters screen for slurs, severe abuse, commercial promotions, social handles, and outside web links.
- AI Speech Transcription: Audio is automatically transcribed in transit using speech-to-text safety screening.
- AI Safety Guardrails: Transcripts are evaluated against safety policies using automated multi-language safety screening across supported languages (English, French, German, Hindi/Hinglish, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Thai).
- Zero AI Training Guarantee: Audio files and transcripts are processed strictly in temporary memory for safety checks and are never used to train AI models.
- Sender Strike System: Submitting abusive audio incurs safety strikes against an anonymous sender security token; accumulating strikes enforces an automatic 24-hour block.
- Community Listener Reports: Listeners can report any broadcast (reasons: sexual, hate, harm, spam, other) directly on the radio. The person who reports a message stops hearing it straight away. Reported messages are reviewed by our team, who decide whether they stay on air; a message that reaches 5 reports is taken off air until it is reviewed.
- How long messages stay on air: Radio broadcasts do not expire. A message stays on the air until listener reports or our moderation take it down, and its audio is then permanently deleted. You can also ask us to remove your own message.
- Studio Letters & Cassettes: Letters and cassettes are shared via private, unguessable links with unguessable private link keys. They expire and are permanently purged after 30 days. Content reported for abuse or non-consensual sharing is taken down immediately.
- Studio Build Together (3D Scenes & Voice Chat): Build Together sessions are private creative spaces for two participants. Voice chat is peer-to-peer over WebRTC, and scene data along with uploaded custom texture photos are purged 1 hour after both users leave. All conduct, voice chat, and uploaded photos remain strictly bound by these Community Guidelines.
- Private Booths Are Ephemeral & Peer-to-Peer: LensBooth does NOT record, monitor, or intercept private Solo Booth camera sessions or peer-to-peer Shared Booth video streams.
- Enforcement Actions: Violations result in immediate rejection/takedown of submissions, account suspension, 24-hour network blocking, or escalation to law enforcement where required by law.
4. Reporting Violations & Takedown Requests
If you encounter content on LensBooth that violates these guidelines, or if your photo or voice was shared without your consent, please report it immediately:
- Tiny Radio Reports: Click the "Report" button directly on any radio broadcast to submit an instant community flag.

All reports and takedown requests are acknowledged within 24 hours and addressed within 15 days (or within 72 hours for urgent non-consensual imagery or audio takedowns).
