Community guidelines for sharing photo strips safely
LensBooth is created to connect people across distance and celebrate authentic moments. To maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful platform, all users and contributors must abide by these rules.
Version 2.0 • Effective Date: August 27, 20261. Consent, Age Requirements & Likeness Respect
The foundation of LensBooth is mutual trust, privacy by design, and respect for personal likeness:
- Age Minimums: You must be at least 13 years old to use LensBooth (with parental/guardian consent if between 13 and 18). Submitting photo strips to our public Community Spotlight requires being at least 16 years of age (with parental consent if under 18).
- Obtain Explicit Consent: Always obtain unambiguous, voluntary permission from everyone present before taking a photo, starting a Shared Booth session, or downloading/sharing a photo strip.
- Community Spotlight Submissions: You must never submit a photo strip depicting friends, family, or third parties unless you have their express consent to have their faces displayed publicly on LensBooth.
- Immediate Respect for Withdrawal: If anyone appearing in a photo asks you not to share it, or asks for a featured spotlight strip to be taken down, honor their request immediately.
2. Strictly Prohibited Content & Global Conduct Rules
We enforce zero tolerance for dangerous, exploitative, harassing, or unlawful material. You agree NEVER to capture, stream, upload, or submit:
- Child Exploitation & CSAM: Zero tolerance. Any depiction of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors will result in immediate termination, IP blocking, and automatic reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cyber law enforcement authorities.
- Nudity, Sexual Content & Non-Consensual Imagery: Sexually explicit poses, nudity, genitalia, non-consensual intimate imagery, or AI-generated deepfakes are strictly forbidden.
- Harassment, Bullying & Doxxing: Targeted harassment, intimidation, hate speech, defamation, or posting personal identifiable information (such as phone numbers, physical addresses, or ID cards) without consent.
- Violence & Self-Harm: Depictions of graphic violence, blood, gore, weapons threats, suicide, or self-injury.
- Intellectual Property & Impersonation: Uploading copyrighted artwork, trademarks, or attempting to impersonate other individuals or entities.
- Platform Abuse & Automation: Distributing malware, running unauthorized scraping bots, or attempting to flood server endpoints.
3. Moderation Architecture & Enforcement Policy
We believe in transparent and proportionate moderation:
- Pre-Moderation for Community Spotlight: Every photo strip submitted to our public showcase is reviewed by a human moderator before it can appear on the homepage. Submissions that do not meet our quality or safety standards are rejected.
- Private Booths Are Ephemeral & Peer-to-Peer: LensBooth does NOT record, monitor, or intercept private Solo Booth sessions or peer-to-peer Shared Booth video streams.
- Enforcement Ladder: Depending on the severity of a violation, enforcement actions include:
- Rejection or immediate removal of submitted photo strips;
- Temporary or permanent suspension of user accounts;
- Temporary blocking for abusive network traffic;
- Escalation to law enforcement or relevant regulatory authorities where required by law.
4. Reporting Violations & Takedown Requests
