Do I need to create an account?
No. LensBooth works instantly - no sign-up, no email, no password. Just open and start.
Are my photos stored anywhere?
No by default. Guest Solo and Shared Booth photos are processed directly on your device or streamed directly between participants peer-to-peer and are never stored on our servers. If you choose to sign in with Google and save photo strips, they are stored securely in your private cloud gallery until you delete them.
How does Shared Booth work?
Shared Booth connects two people directly using peer-to-peer connection. Your camera feed goes straight to the other person - not through any server. The booth session closes automatically after inactivity.
Which browsers are supported?
LensBooth works on modern browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For Shared Booth, Chrome or Firefox works best.
Is LensBooth free?
Yes - completely free. No subscriptions, no hidden fees. Just open and capture.
Before you write
A lot of questions already have a written answer. If your camera will not start, try the six fixes for a camera not working in your browser, or reset the permission directly using Chrome's own instructions (the underlying behaviour is defined by the Permissions API). If you are not sure what LensBooth does yet, start with what a virtual photo booth is, or just open the booth. For questions about photos and data the privacy policy is the full answer, and the community guidelines cover what may be captured and shared.
