About LensBooth

About LensBooth: built for real moments across distance

LensBooth is the first online photo booth built for long-distance relationships. No app, no downloads, nothing to set up. Just open it, snap, and walk away with a photo strip worth keeping. The idea goes back to the 1925 Photomaton, and to the purikura booths that gave it a fresh twist about seventy years later.

The concept

A premium virtual booth designed for everyone, anywhere

LensBooth is the first online photo booth made for people who live far apart but still want to be in the same frame. Take a strip on your own, or invite someone and step into the booth together, even if they're in another city or another country. Either way, you leave with a photo strip you'll actually want to keep.

It's meant to feel like the real thing: the countdown, the silly poses, the little strip at the end. It all works right in your browser, with no downloads, no account, and no fiddly setup. Open it, strike a pose, and you're in.

Everything in LensBooth is there to bring people a little closer. Because the best memories aren't just taken, they're shared.

LensBooth Photo Booth Experience

Built with intention

Three principles behind every experience:

Instant by default
No sign-up. No setup. Open a link and you're in - nothing between you and the moment.
Together, even apart
Step into the same frame, no matter where you are. Distance shouldn't limit shared moments.
Memories worth keeping
Clean, real photo strips - something you'll actually want to save, not just scroll past.
"I didn't build another photo booth app. I built a way to create memories."
- KISHAN NAIK ( Creator of LensBooth)

In November 2025, I was at a shopping mall with one of my closest friends when we spotted a photo booth. We hadn't planned on it, but we stepped inside anyway. A few minutes later, we walked out with a small photo strip from one of our favorite days together.

Soon after, we went back to our own cities. We kept in touch through messages and video calls, but whenever I looked at that strip, it reminded me that a memory is about the experience you shared, not just the photos.

And that got me thinking: we can video call anyone in the world, so why can't we step into the same photo booth when we're miles apart?

I couldn't let go of that question. It's how LensBooth began: an online photo booth where two people can make a real photo strip together, wherever they are.

Who writes the LensBooth blog

Everything published on the LensBooth blog is written by Kishan Naik, who built LensBooth and runs it as its sole operator. He writes about photo booths, photo strips, and staying close at a distance, which are the same subjects the product exists to serve.

Topics come from what people actually ask: questions sent through the contact form, problems that come up in Duo Booth sessions, and the practical things that turn out to matter when you are trying to take a decent photo with a webcam. There is no outside contributor, no sponsored placement, and no guest posting on this site.

Articles carry the date they were published. If you spot something inaccurate or out of date, tell us and it will be corrected.
